蚂蚁防治

One ant means thousands more. Eliminate the colony.

Spot treatment kills the foragers you can see. It leaves the colony intact — so the ants keep coming back. Our approach targets the entire colony, including the queen, using non-repellent insecticides and targeted gel baits.

The Real Challenge

Why ants are harder to control than they look.

They’re tiny, they’re everywhere, and they seem easy to swat. But ants are one of the most biologically sophisticated pests — which is exactly why DIY rarely solves the problem for long.

Challenge 01

Massive colony structure

Ant colonies can house thousands to millions of individuals, often with multiple queens. Killing visible ants barely scratches the surface — the colony continues reproducing undisturbed.

Challenge 02

Different food preferences

Some ants prefer protein-based foods (meat, grease), others prefer sugars and sweets. Using the wrong bait means ants simply ignore it. Species identification is critical for bait success.

Challenge 03

Multiple queens reproduce

Many ant species have more than one reproductive queen. Eliminating one leaves others laying eggs at hundreds per day — rebuilding the colony before you’ve finished cleaning up.

Our Professional Approach

Two methods, used together.

Effective ant control isn’t about killing the ants you see. It’s about dismantling the colony. Our two-pronged strategy achieves exactly that.

方法 01
Gel Baits

Palatable food source mixed with a slow-acting insecticide. Worker ants carry the bait back to the colony, sharing it with nest-mates and the queen. By the time the effects show, the colony has already been compromised from within.

  • Species-specific bait selection (protein vs sugar)
  • Slow-acting — ensures colony-wide distribution
  • Eliminates queens and reproductives
  • Minimal disruption to household activity
方法02
Non-Repellent Spray

Targeted treatment at entry points, nests, and trails. Critically, we use non-repellent insecticides — ants don’t detect them and don’t avoid the treated zones. They pick up the chemical, return to the colony, and spread it through social contact.

  • Non-repellent — ants don’t avoid the treated zones
  • Transfer effect via ant-to-ant social contact
  • Safe for indoor and outdoor use
  • Creates barrier against future infestations
On DIY Boric Acid

Why boric acid baits usually fall short.

Boric acid is a popular DIY ant remedy online. It’s cheap and technically works — but only if six different things align perfectly. Here’s why most DIY boric acid attempts disappoint.

01

Bait attractiveness

Success depends on using the right food carrier for the specific ant species. Sugar for sweet-eaters, protein for protein-seekers. Get it wrong — ants ignore it entirely.

02

Concentration matters

Too little boric acid has no effect. Too much kills the worker ant before it returns to the colony — leaving the queen and nest untouched. The sweet spot is narrow and hard to get right at home.

03

Safety concerns

Boric acid is harmful if ingested by pets or children. Open baits in the home need careful placement, monitoring, and storage — risks often underestimated.

04

Slow results

Boric acid works gradually. You may still see active ants for 2–3 months — requiring consistent, ongoing maintenance most homeowners don’t keep up with.

05

Inconsistent monitoring

Baits get forgotten. They dry out, get contaminated, or lose potency over time. Without regular re-inspection and replenishment, they quickly become ineffective.

06

Can’t use in soil

Boric acid shouldn’t be applied to soil — it harms plant roots and soil health. So for outdoor or garden ant infestations, it’s largely off-limits.

Our Process

From your WhatsApp to colony elimination.

A structured approach ensures the right treatment is matched to the species and situation.

01

Identify Species

Free site inspection. We identify the ant species, locate nests, and map trail patterns across your premise.

02

Select Bait Type

Species-specific bait chosen — protein-based, sugar-based, or a combination — matched to the ant’s feeding preference.

03

Apply Treatment

Gel baits at active trails, non-repellent spray at entry points and nests. Integrated application for maximum colony impact.

04

Monitor & Follow-Up

Follow-up inspections confirm colony elimination. Recommendations on prevention to discourage new colonies from moving in.

Ants Questions

What customers ask us about ants.

Quick answers to the most common ant-related questions we receive.

Why do I keep seeing ants even after I spray them?

Because spot spraying kills only the visible foragers — which are a tiny fraction of the colony. The colony itself, along with multiple queens laying hundreds of eggs daily, remains untouched. New foragers simply take over where the old ones died.

Real ant control requires reaching the colony itself through either gel baits that travel back to the nest, or non-repellent sprays that spread through ant-to-ant contact.

Why does identifying the ant species matter?

Different species have very different feeding preferences. Sugar ants ignore protein baits, protein-loving ants ignore sugar baits. Using the wrong bait wastes time and lets the infestation grow.

Species also determines nesting behaviour, swarm patterns, and which treatment approaches work best. A Fire Ant infestation is treated differently from a Weaver Ant invasion — even though both are “just ants”.

Are your treatments safe for my children and pets?

Yes. We use registered, licensed insecticides applied by trained operators at correct dilutions. Gel baits are placed in cracks and hard-to-reach areas. Non-repellent sprays are safe for indoor and outdoor surfaces when properly applied.

For families with infants, elderly, or sensitive pets, we adjust placement and application techniques to minimise direct exposure while maintaining effectiveness.

How long until I stop seeing ants after treatment?

You may still see ants for 1-2 weeks while the bait travels through the colony — this is actually a good sign that the treatment is working. Activity drops sharply after that, with most homes seeing near-elimination within 2-4 weeks.

If you’re seeing continued heavy activity at 3+ weeks, contact us — we’ll inspect and adjust the treatment.

Can you treat outdoor ant nests and gardens?

Yes. Outdoor treatment is often essential — many ant problems indoors stem from outdoor nests that foragers travel from. We treat gardens, lawns, driveways, and perimeter areas using outdoor-safe baits and sprays.

For gardens in particular, we avoid boric acid (which harms soil and plants) and use targeted, localised treatment.

How much does ant treatment cost?

Ant treatment is part of our general pest control service, starting from RM 130 for residential properties. Pricing depends on premise size, species, and severity.

Composite multi-pest packages (covering ants + cockroaches + rats + others) start from RM 150. 查看我们的完整定价指南.

Seeing ants in your kitchen?

Don’t just kill what you see.

WhatsApp us a photo — we’ll identify the species, recommend the right treatment, and arrange a free inspection. Spot treatment just delays the problem. Colony elimination ends it.
