Protect your property — humanely, effectively, permanently.
Birds are part of the ecosystem — but when they roost on your premise, the damage and health risks are real. We use deterrent-based methods that move birds on without harming them, backed by 59 years of commercial and residential experience.
The real problems with bird infestation.
Beyond the droppings and the noise, birds nesting at your premise cause serious, measurable problems for property, health, and pest management.
Health & disease
Birds carry diseases transmissible to humans — histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, and psittacosis — spread through contact with droppings. Droppings can also trigger respiratory issues in staff and customers.
Property damage
Bird droppings are acidic and corrode paintwork, building materials, and vehicles over time. Nests block gutters and rainwater systems. Signage, awnings, and outdoor dining areas are defaced.
Attracting other pests
Bird droppings attract insects and rodents. If your premise is near natural habitat, bird eggs may also attract predators like monitor lizards and snakes — a distinctly tropical Malaysia concern.
The usual culprits.
Three species cause the majority of bird control cases we handle in Malaysian urban and commercial environments.
Large, heavy-bodied birds that produce substantial droppings. Prefer flat ledges, beams, and covered areas for roosting and nesting.
Common Asian species that gather in large noisy flocks. Nest in building cavities, air conditioning units, and roof spaces. Aggressive and territorial.
Smaller but highly persistent. Nest in small cavities, roof spaces, and ventilation systems. Difficult to exclude due to their size.
Deterrence, not destruction.
We do not kill birds. We use deterrents, physical barriers, and behavioural discouragement to move birds away from your premise and keep them away. This is both our ethical position and the legally appropriate approach under Malaysian wildlife regulations. Humane methods are also more effective long-term — killing a few birds doesn’t prevent new ones arriving. Proper exclusion does.
Three approaches, matched to your situation.
Bird control isn’t one-size-fits-all. The right method depends on premise type, bird species, access constraints, and budget. Here are the three categories we draw from.
Direct exclusion — blocking birds from accessing preferred landing, nesting, and roosting zones.
Prevents access to open facades, courtyards, and production areas. Ideal for warehouses, atriums, and undercover spaces.
Installed on ledges, beams, signs, and other narrow surfaces. Makes landing physically uncomfortable without harming birds.
Surface-applied treatments that make roosting zones unpleasant for birds — without causing harm.
Non-toxic substances applied to ledges, roofs, and outdoor dining areas — birds find treated surfaces uncomfortable and move on.
Sticky substance applied to potential roosting spots. Birds avoid the tactile sensation, making the surface uninviting.
High-tech deterrents that work across large, open areas where physical barriers aren’t practical.
Emit high-frequency sound waves inaudible to humans but uncomfortable for birds. Programmable for specific species or general deterrence.
Avoid upfront purchase cost. Rent the device with professional installation on a contract basis (see below).
Expensive to buy. Affordable to rent.
Ultrasonic bird repellers are effective — but they’re a costly piece of equipment for a private home or small business to purchase outright. Here’s a better way.
Ultrasonic Bird Repeller Devices.
Rather than asking customers to invest in expensive ultrasonic equipment, we rent the device to you with professional installation on a contract basis. You get the benefit of the technology without the upfront capital expense.
The device emits high-frequency sound waves that birds find highly uncomfortable — inaudible to humans, pets, and most other wildlife. Programmable to target specific bird species or set to general deterrent mode.
Suitable for warehouses, factories, parking lots, agricultural sites, and large commercial spaces where physical barriers aren’t practical.
Bird control at a customer site.
See our technicians carrying out bird control measures at a real customer premise. The work involves site assessment, identifying problem zones, and installing the appropriate combination of physical barriers and deterrents.
Every installation is unique — building geometry, bird species, access constraints, and owner preferences all shape what we deploy and where. This is specialist work, not a one-size product install.
Bird control across sectors.
Bird problems aren’t confined to one type of property. We handle them everywhere they cause trouble.
주거용
Homes with roosting problems at eaves, air-con units, rooftops, and courtyards.
Commercial Buildings
Offices, shop houses, and commercial premises where bird droppings deface building facades and signage.
F&B Premises
Restaurants, cafés, food courts — where bird droppings near dining areas create health and hygiene issues.
Warehouses & Factories
Large open spaces where birds nest in rafters and contaminate products — critical for HACCP-compliant facilities.
Places of Worship
Mosques, temples, churches, and religious buildings with large open architecture favoured by roosting birds.
Heritage Buildings
Historical premises where bird acids damage irreplaceable stonework, carvings, and architectural features.
What customers ask us about birds.
Answers to the most common questions during bird control consultations.
Do you kill the birds or trap them?
No. We don’t kill or harm birds. Our approach is strictly deterrence-based — we install physical barriers (netting, spikes), apply chemical repellents that make surfaces uncomfortable, or deploy ultrasonic devices that birds find unpleasant.
This is both our ethical position and the legally appropriate approach under Malaysian wildlife protection regulations. It’s also more effective long-term — killing individual birds doesn’t stop new ones arriving. Exclusion does.
Which method is best for my situation?
It depends on your premise. Ledges and narrow surfaces → spikes. Open facades and courtyards → netting. Large open areas like warehouses and parking lots → ultrasonic devices. Outdoor dining and signage → chemical repellents or gels.
For complex premises, we often combine two or three methods. We’ll recommend after free site assessment.
How much does bird control cost?
Pricing varies widely based on the scope of work — square footage of netting required, linear metres of spikes, ultrasonic device specification, and installation complexity (height, access, scaffolding requirements).
We provide pricing after free site assessment so we can give an accurate quote rather than a misleading flat rate. WhatsApp us to arrange.
How does the ultrasonic device rental work?
Rather than asking you to purchase expensive ultrasonic equipment upfront, we provide the device and professional installation on a rental/contract basis. You pay a regular rate that includes the device, installation, and servicing.
Rental is ideal for businesses wanting to avoid capital expenditure, or for premises with seasonal bird issues. Subject to availability and site compatibility — contact us to discuss.
Will birds return after treatment?
When installation is done properly — appropriate method for the species, correctly deployed, and installed across all access zones — birds relocate elsewhere and don’t return. Proper deterrence teaches birds that the premise is not a viable roosting option.
If partial installation is done (e.g. spikes on main ledge but not on windowsills), birds simply move to untreated zones. That’s why comprehensive assessment and installation matters.
Is this safe for other animals, pets, and wildlife?
Yes. Physical barriers (netting, spikes) are mechanical — they don’t release chemicals or sound. Chemical repellents and gels are formulated to be unpleasant only to birds. Ultrasonic devices emit frequencies above most mammal hearing ranges.
For premises with pets or wildlife considerations, we confirm the chosen method is compatible during assessment.
Let’s stop them properly.
Send us a photo of the affected area on WhatsApp — we’ll assess which combination of methods suits your premise. Humane, effective, and backed by 59 years of experience.
