Treatment Process

Bed bug treatment in 3 visits, over 3 weeks.

A single treatment never works on bed bugs — their eggs hatch days later and restart the cycle. Our 3-visit programme is timed precisely against bed bug biology to break that cycle properly. Here’s exactly what each visit covers, why the timing matters, and what we ask of you between visits.

Why The Timing Matters

One visit can’t beat the egg cycle.

Bed bug eggs hatch in 7 to 10 days. Even after a thorough first treatment, eggs hidden in cracks and crevices will hatch into new bed bugs days later — and the infestation rebuilds.

Our 3-visit programme, with each visit spaced about a week apart, ensures we kill bed bugs at every stage of their life cycle as they emerge. Skipping the second or third visit is the most common reason DIY treatments and budget pest companies fail.

Visit Details

What happens at each visit.

Detailed breakdown of what our technicians do at each of the three visits — so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

01
Day 0

Inspection & initial treatment.

The first visit is the most thorough. Bed bugs hide in unexpected places — the name “bed bugs” is misleading; they’re rarely confined to beds alone. We start by mapping the full extent of the infestation.

Our technicians inspect every potential hiding spot:

  • Mattresses
  • Bed frames
  • Sofas
  • Carpets
  • Wardrobes
  • Electrical outlets
  • Picture frames
  • Luggage
  • Skirting boards
What this visit accomplishes
  • Inspect all hiding spots and document infestation extent
  • Assess severity to determine treatment approach
  • Apply licensed insecticide targeting both adult bed bugs and nymphs
  • Brief you on prep work before the next visit

02
Day 7

Follow-up & secondary treatment.

One week after the first visit, eggs that were hidden during the initial treatment have hatched into nymphs. This is the critical window — we kill the new generation before they mature and reproduce.

Without this second visit, surviving eggs would restart the entire infestation. This is the most common reason single-visit treatments fail.

What this visit accomplishes
  • Re-inspect all treated areas for surviving bed bugs and newly hatched nymphs
  • Apply a second round of treatment targeting the new generation
  • Check for signs of new infestation sources (luggage, furniture, visitors)
  • Confirm the treatment is on track

03
Day 14

Final assessment & post-treatment plan.

By the third visit, the infestation should be eliminated. This visit confirms eradication and sets you up for the future — bed bugs are notorious for re-entering homes via luggage and used furniture, so prevention matters.

What this visit accomplishes
  • Verify all previous treatments have worked — no live bed bugs remain
  • Apply final round of treatment to any hidden nymphs or remaining bed bugs
  • Provide post-treatment plan: monitoring, prevention, and what to watch for
  • Advise on cleaning, decluttering, and long-term prevention
Edge Cases

When additional visits are needed.

Most cases are resolved within the standard 3-visit programme. But in some situations, additional treatments may be necessary. We’ll always communicate openly about progress.

Case 01

Severe infestations

Where bed bugs have spread across multiple rooms or units, additional treatments may be needed to fully eliminate the population. Severe cases also require more thorough preparation.

Case 02

External reinfestation

Bed bugs are easily re-introduced from outside — luggage from a trip, second-hand furniture, an infested guest. If reinfestation occurs, additional treatment may be required to address the new source.

Case 03

Resistant strains

Some bed bug populations have developed resistance to certain insecticides. If we encounter a resistant strain, we may need to apply alternative chemicals over additional visits.

Our Safety Commitments

Effective for bed bugs. Safe for your household.

Bed bug treatment requires effective chemicals — but those chemicals must be safe for the people, pets, and food in the home. Here’s how we balance both.

Safety 01

Licensed chemicals only

We use insecticides registered and approved by Malaysian authorities. No grey-market chemicals, no unlicensed substances — only proven, documented products.

Safety 02

Safe for humans & pets

Applied at correct dilutions by trained operators, our chemicals are safe for family members and pets once the treatment has dried. We’ll advise specific re-entry times during the visit.

Safety 03

Trained & licensed technicians

Years of experience handling bed bug cases — accurate diagnosis, correct chemical selection, safe application. The right person for the job is half the battle.

在我们到达之前

如何 prepare your home.

A bit of preparation before each visit dramatically improves treatment effectiveness. Here’s what we ask of you.

01

热水洗涤床上用品

Strip and wash all bed linen, pillowcases, and curtains in the hottest cycle your machine supports (60°C+). Heat kills bed bugs at all stages.

02

Declutter sleeping zones

Remove items from under the bed and around bedroom skirting. The fewer hiding spots, the more effective the treatment.

03

彻底吸尘

Vacuum the entire affected area, especially mattress seams and bed frames. Empty the vacuum into a sealed bag and dispose of it outside immediately.

04

Bag clean clothing

Place freshly washed clothes in sealed plastic bags. This prevents reinfestation while treatment is in progress.

05

Plan to be away

You’ll need to stay out of treated rooms for 2–4 hours after each visit while the chemical dries. We’ll confirm exact timing on the day.

06

Identify problem areas

Note where you’ve seen bed bugs, blood spots, or experienced bites. The more you can show our technician, the better the inspection.
